Inspired by the French tradition of bain bébé, these sessions capture your baby's first bath in a beautiful, warm and safe setting. The way babies relax in warm water, the tiny wrinkles on their fingers, the peace in their eyes — these are moments you will treasure forever. I bring everything needed: a professional-grade baby bath, soft towels, warm water and gentle lighting.

I also offer first-year follow-up packages that document your baby's growth across multiple sessions — newborn, three months, six months, nine months and first birthday. These packages are the perfect way to build a complete visual story of your baby's first year, and they represent excellent value compared to booking individual sessions. Each session is tailored to your baby's developmental stage and personality. At three months, babies are smiley and alert; at six months, they are sitting up and full of curiosity; at nine months, they are crawling and exploring; and at one year, they are taking their first steps. Each milestone is captured with the same care and attention as the first.

All my sessions are shot using a blend of digital and film photography. I use medium format film for the most important portraits — the quiet moments, the family groupings, the close-ups of tiny fingers wrapped around yours — because film renders skin tones, textures and emotions with a depth that digital alone cannot achieve. Each film frame is hand-developed and individually scanned, giving your images a unique, gallery-quality finish. The digital images are colour-graded to match the film aesthetic, so your entire gallery feels cohesive and timeless.

I photograph exclusively on location — either in your home or at an outdoor location of your choice (for older babies and family sessions). I bring everything I need: cameras, lenses, film, a portable changing mat, gentle props and a calm energy that helps babies relax. I never use bright studio lights or flash, only natural window light or open shade. This approach keeps your baby comfortable and results in photographs that feel soft, warm and beautifully real.

The baby bath thalasso session deserves special mention because it is one of my most requested and most cherished services. I arrive at your home with a professional-grade baby bath, warm filtered water, soft hooded towels and a selection of natural props — dried flowers, wooden toys, soft muslins. The session takes place in your living room or bathroom, wherever the light is best. Your baby is gently lowered into the warm water and I capture every expression: the initial surprise, the gradual relaxation, the peaceful bliss. These images are unlike anything you will get from a standard newborn session. They are emotional, artistic and deeply personal. Many parents tell me these are the photographs they would grab if the house were on fire.

Every newborn session includes a pre-session consultation where we discuss your hopes for the photographs, the best areas of your home for natural light, and any special items you would like to include — a handmade blanket, a family heirloom, a toy you have been saving since before your baby was born. I also provide a detailed preparation guide that covers room temperature, feeding schedules, clothing choices and how to prepare siblings for the session.
